Basic guide for the connection between our digital box and Surround Sound system

  In present days much more people are attracted by the digital and HD devices, which are providing nice quality screens and high resolution channels. The digital boxes are one of the newest broadband devices in present days, and they are allowing us to watch digital television. Each digital box has various useful applications and it allows us to connect to wireless networks and thanks to them, we can surf on the internet or watch online movies, TV shows or sport events. Another positive sign of the digital box is that it allows us to record our favorite channels or TV shows free and we can watch them many times.

  When we are watching TV we are receiving the signal usually from Satellite Receiver box or digital box and thanks to them, we can enjoy many programs on our TV. Each digital box has audio outputs, which are allowing us to connect surround sound systems to our digital box. These surround systems are giving us the ability to hear our television audio on much better and quality speakers than these, which are placed on our TV set. If we want to enjoy better quality sounds on our TV we must make a connection between the Surround System and the digital box. For this procedure we’ll need only digital audio cables and the surround sound receiver. The first step of the connection between the surrounding Sound System and our digital box is to attach the digital audio cables into the port, which is labeled like “Digital Audio”, and it is placed on the rear of our digital box. The next step of the procedure is to insert the other end of the digital audio cable into the port, which is labeled like “Digital Audio”, and it is located in the surround sound system. When we are ready with these steps, we must perform the last step of the connection between our digital box and the surround sound system. The last step of the operation is to turn on both devices and we must select the button, which is labeled like “Digital Audio”, and we must start to hear the audio, which will play from our surround system speakers.

  If we are not able to purchase surround sound system, we can connect simple speakers to our digital box. For that procedure we must follow three simple steps and we’ll need also only two RCA patch cords.

The first step of the connection between the speakers and the digital box is to plug the end of our RCA cords into the jacks, which are labeled like “Audio Output”, and they are placed in the rear of our digital box. The RCA cables must be colored in white and red color and it is important to plug them into the white and red jacks, which are placed on our digital box. The next step of the procedure is to connect the other end of the cables with the jacks, which are labeled like “Aux Input”, and are placed in our stereo receiver. The next step of the procedure is to turn on our stereo and we must set the input, which is noticed like “Aux” and after that we must hear sound from our speakers.
