The picture very vivid, very sharp. I’m extremely impressed. Small slick DVD player. Does all as promised. Play PAL and Ntsc Dvd’s, upscales output up to 1080p. I really can tell difference compare to regular progressive scan DVD players. You can find only very little Sim and absolutely no Hay in Region 1 format discs.
The disc tray is pretty flimsy and seems to take a while to load and eject but those are minor issues for me. Don’t lose the remote though as there are virtually no controls on the actual player.
One thing is for sure, these Philips DVD players will never fall short of your expectations.
